How to Pair –

Method 1: Simply hold the Home key for 10–15 seconds within 3 meters distance to pair. If not paired, proceed to the next method.

Method 2: Restart your Fire TV Stick by unplugging it and plugging it back in after 60 seconds. Reset the remote (for some models) by pressing and holding Back + Menu + Left on the navigation ring for 10 seconds, then holding the Home button for 10 seconds. Make sure the remote is within 10 feet (3 meters) of the Fire TV Stick.

Method 3: Install the Fire TV app on your smartphone. Ensure the phone and Fire TV Stick are on the same WiFi network and logged into the same Amazon account. Once connected, a passcode will appear on your TV. Enter it in the app to pair. You can now use your mobile as a remote.

Add New Remote (Steps): Navigate to Home > Settings > Controllers & Bluetooth Devices > Amazon Fire TV Remotes > Add New Remote. Press the Home button on the new remote until its light blinks. When it appears on the TV screen, select it using the mobile app.
